For the first time in the history of Akademeia High School, two Y13 physics students took part in the British Physics Olympiad – Round 1, the highest level among physics competitions for international students.
A high record number of 2830 students took part in the November 2022 Round 1 competition from 440 different schools worldwide.
Both our students were awarded medals, acknowledging their high-level proficiency in problem-solving skills.
Our sincere congratulations and esteem go to: Juliusz Ameljan-Kowalski, gold medal (top 7%) and Karolina Zaleska, Bronze Medal II (top 30%).
