19 April marks the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising – a courageous act of resistance against the Nazi regime during World War II.

Our students joined to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising with a special assembly dedicated to these significant events from 1943. They were also making paper daffodils and distributing them to our community. This afternoon, some of our students will be giving out paper daffodils to passers-by on the streets of Warsaw, as volunteers for the Daffodils campaign organised by POLIN Museum. They will be explaining why it’s significant to carry on the memory of the Holocaust and pass it on to younger generations.
