Our student has been awarded a scholarship to study at Dartmouth, a prestigious Ivy League university!

Congratulations to Zosia, our Year 13 student, who has been awarded a scholarship to study at Dartmouth, a prestigious Ivy League university in US. (Dartmouth is need-blind, and the university doesn’t consider financial aid when reviewing applications.) It is an outstanding achievement and a testimony to her hard work and dedication.

Zosia has thrived at AHS since joining us in Year 10 on academic scholarship. She developed her deep interest in Natural Sciences and chose Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics as her A Level subjects. In the future, Zosia would like to become a doctor, and also do some biomedical research along the way!

In addition to her studies, Zosia has outstanding performing arts talents. She has been sharing her love for stage with our community, performing in several school musical productions and concerts. We have admired Zosia as an actress, singer, and a multi-instrumentalist – solo or as member of the School Band, often being the driving force and lead coordinator of multi-part vocal harmonies. Along with her friends, she also founded and leads a student music band called ‘Hive Mind’. As an aficionado of the written word, she has been an active member of Akademeia Poetry Club and Creative Writing Club for several years running.

Zosia, we are proud on your achievement and wish you the best for the future!

Before Zosia bids good-bye to Akademeia High School, we will be able to watch her for one more time on the AHS stage, this time in the leading role of Carmen Diaz in our production of “Fame: The Musical” on 26 June. Don’t miss out!
