In addition, the Akademeia High School Foundation offers our top graduating scholars a one-off grant to support them in relocating abroad for their university studies. We also encourage our scholars to apply for external funding from other foundations and charitable organisations and we support them in the process by helping to identify viable scholarship programmes and providing references.
In the past, our scholarship students have been very successful in obtaining external funding from organisations such as the Rafał Brzoska Foundation and Fundacja Talenty. Many scholarship students have also been successful in applying for scholarships at their universities, including full scholarships from the University of Cambridge.

At Akademeia, we are committed to nurturing our students' talents and supporting their academic and personal growth beyond their high school years. Since 2023, we have come together as a community to raise funds for our exceptional scholars to attend their dream universities. These students are selected based on their applications, academic achievements, and community engagement. By aiding them in their further studies, we believe we are helping future leaders in their respective fields and communities.
AHS Fundraiser Winter 2025
Our Akademeia Christmas Fundraiser & Concert was a tremendous success, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to all our guests - parents, students, staff, and our guests of honour - for joining us and for their generosity throughout the evening.
We are deeply grateful for the enthusiastic participation in the Live Auction, which brought wonderful momentum and contributed greatly to the impact of the night. Following the auction, the Christmas Concert beautifully captured the spirit of the season, showcasing the remarkable talents of our students and staff and adding a warm, festive atmosphere to the event.
We also warmly thank everyone who took part in the Christmas Fair - through purchases of handcrafted soaps, baked goods, gingerbread, and poem cards, as well as by joining the bath bomb-making, macramé and embroidery workshops and taking part in the chess competition. Your engagement made the event vibrant, joyful, and full of community spirit.
Thanks to your generosity, we have already raised nearly 100,000 PLN from the event - and this number continues to grow as the Silent Auction remains open until May. We warmly encourage continued bidding, as all proceeds directly support our Year 13 scholars. Bid here!

AHS Fundraiser Spring 2025
In May 2025, we hosted our annual Akademeia Fundraiser, featuring a garden party with a student-run fashion show, hands-on art workshops. The evening continued with a musical concert by our talented students and staff, and concluded with a vibrant art auction led by DESA Unicum SA, supporting the future of our graduating scholars.
Thanks to the collective effort and generosity of our community we were able to raise a total of 480,000 PLN to support Julia Burzyńska (Art Scholar) and Zonia Jankowska (Music Scholar) as they continue their further studies at University of Cambridge (Architecture) and McGill University (Music Composition) respectively.
It is especially worth noting that, after hearing about our school’s fundraising efforts, Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge decided to cover 50% of Julia’s tuition fees, which made it possible for her to begin her studies.
No words can describe how crucial the Fundraiser of 2025 was for my educational journey; maybe someday I’ll be able to express my gratitude for that evening through my music. The Fundraiser has changed my life; here I am, with my visa, ready to face McGill University - all thanks to Akademeia and the AkA Foundation and Ad Astra Scholarship programme.
Every contribution and every word of encouragement played a vital role in my journey to this next step of my life. So here I am, packing my suitcases and ticking off last items from my checklist. Thanks to your generosity and care, I am able to pursue the study of Architecture. I believe this path will allow me to grow artistically and deepen the understanding of how art influences our perception of the physical world, shaping the environment around us. As I have just read in my Fresher's welcome letter from Cambridge, 'Everything is Architecture. Architecture is everything.

Throughout the year, private donors support the Akademeia High School Foundation with funds for this cause, as well as items for silent and live auctions. The culmination of these efforts is the annual Fundraiser for Graduating Scholars, held at the end of each academic year. This event has become a cornerstone in supporting students' educational journeys beyond Akademeia. Since its inception, this event has been unforgettable, featuring a captivating student fashion show, an enchanting concert, and an exhilarating live art auction supported by the professional auction house DESA Unicum.
We also have silent auctions and other smaller-scale events throughout the year dedicated to this cause. Year after year, beautiful artwork and other collectibles for the auctions are generously donated by private collectors, students, staff, and the wider community. We are grateful for such incredible commitment and engagement in these events, which proves that our scholarship programme and having exceptional scholars in our school is very important to all of us.
