PDS Art

Have you ever tried painting on water?
Our students have been lately, under the expert guidance, discovering the traditional Ebru art as their PDS project.

Ebru, a Turkish art of marbling, originated in Central Asia in the 13th century and was registered on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2014.
Check out some of unique patterns created by sprinkling and brushing color pigments on a pan of oily water, created in AHS.
We can’t wait for the Ebru art exhibition in Akademeia! The artworks, transfered to a special paper, will finally decorate walls of our Wellbeing room.
