The Year 13 3D Design A Level course commenced with the ceramics project inspired by nature. Students tried a wheel throwing as well as worked with slabs and coils. Objects created by Jakub J., through their colours and forms reflected on the phenomenon of coral bleaching and dying coral reefs due to the oceans’ pollution.
The ceramics project was met with such students’ enthusiasm that the Art Studio acquired own pottery wheel.
